Technical Analysis
Moving averages and MACD computed on the market rates themselves. These are the signals the survey histograms sit behind: the technical read tells you what the rate is doing, the histograms tell you what the panel expects next.

How to read this
The top panel is the market rate with its moving averages laid over it. A rate above its long average is in an uptrend, below it a downtrend, and the averages crossing one another is the classic trend-change marker.
The lower panel is MACD, the 12-day exponential average minus the 26-day, with a 9-day signal line and the gap between them as bars. The MACD line crossing above its signal is read as upward momentum building, crossing below as momentum fading.
Everything here describes the rate. A rising rate means falling bond prices, so read the direction against the instrument you hold rather than as a buy or sell on its own.
All 12 series are daily and computed over trading days on the full history, some of it reaching back to the 1950s.
